Seasoning instructions:
1. Remove all labels, then clean the cast iron with warm soapy water and rinse in warm water to remove the protective coating.
2. Thoroughly dry your cast iron by heating to 212°F on your stove.
3. While the cast iron is still warm from the drying process lightly grease the cast iron with cooking oil or bacon grease (do not use margarine or butter) and place in the oven, upside down at 400°F for 2 hours.
